ರಚನೆ : ಪುರಂದರ ದಾಸರು
ರಾಗ : ಆನಂದಭೈರವಿ
ತಾಳ : ಝಂಪೆ

ನಾನೇಕೆ ಬಡವನು  ನಾನೇಕೆ ಪರದೇಶಿ
ಶ್ರೀನಿಧೇ  ಹರಿ ಎನಗೆ  ನೀನಿರುವ  ತನಕ ।।ಪ।।

ಪುಟ್ಟಿಸಿದ ತಾಯಿ ತಂದೆ ಇಷ್ಟ ಮಿತ್ರನು ನೀನೆ
ಅಷ್ಟ ಬಂಧುವು ಬಳಗ ಸರ್ವ ನೀನೆ
ಪೆಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯೊಳಗಿನ  ಅಷ್ಟಾಭರಣ  ನೀನೆ
ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಟ  ಮೂರುತಿ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ನೀನಿರುವ ತನಕ ।।೧।।


ಒಡ  ಹುಟ್ಟಿದವ ನೀನೆ ಒಡಲಿಗಾಕುವ  ನೀನೆ
ಉಡಲು ಹೊದಿಯಲು  ವಸ್ತ್ರ ಕೊಡುವವ ನೀನೆ
ಮಡದಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳನೆಲ್ಲಾ  ಕಡೆಹಾಯಿಸುವ  ನೀನೆ
ಬಿಡದೆ ಸಲಹುವ ಒಡೆಯ ನೀನಿರುವ ತನಕ ।।೨।।

ವಿದ್ಯೆ ಹೇಳುವವ ನೀನೆ ಬುದ್ಧಿ  ಕಲಿಸುವವ ನೀನೆ
ಉದ್ಧಾರ ಕರ್ತ  ಮಮ  ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ನೀನೆ
ಮುದ್ದು ಸಿರಿ ಪುರಂದರ ವಿಠಲ ನಿನ್ನಡಿ ಮೇಲೆ
ಬಿದ್ದುಕೊಂಡಿರುವ  ಎನಗೇತರ ಭಯವೋ ।।೩।।

How  can  I  be  a  poor  and  destitute  until  you  are  there  to  protect  me . ||PA||

You  are  the  Father / Mother  who  made  me to  born 
You  are  the best friend and
You  are my ornaments / jewels in the box.
 I am safe until you protect me.||1||
