 moon in his hair.                                                                                 
oM vAmadevAya namaH ........... Salutations to the God who is pleasing & auspicious
 in every way.                                                                                
oM virUpAkshaAya namaH .......... Salutations to the God of spotless form.
oM kapardine namaH ........ Salutations to the Lord  with thickly matted hair.
oM nIlalohitAya namaH ......... Salutations to the  God as splendid as the red Sun at daybreak.
oM shankarAya namaH ...........Salutations to the God  who is the source of all property.
oM shUlapANaye namaH ......... Salutations to the God who carries a spear.
oM khaTvA.ngine namaH ......... Salutations to the God who carries a knurled club.
