Dates Burfi

Ingredients:
Maida/All purpose Flour-1/2 cup
White Corn Flour-1/4Cup
Chickpea Flour/Besan-3 tbsp
Sugar-3/4 cup or 1 cup
Pitted dates-1/2 cup
         OR
Date Syrup-1/2 cup
Milk-1/4 cup
Ghee-1/2 cup
Cardamom powder-1/4 tsp
Almonds-few


Method:
             First soak dates in warm water for 20-30 mins and make a fine paste.In a bowl add corn flour,maida,besan and milk  mix well thoroughly.In a heavy bottom pan pour this mixture and  keep on mixing with the help of spatula.Let it boil in medium heat.Now add sugar,dates paste and 1tbsp of ghee,keep on mixing so that lumps will not be formed.This process should be continued till the mixture gets right consistency,add little by little ghee now add some cardamom powder.After 10- 12 mins grease a plate pour the mixture ;level equally with the help of roller.Spread  crushed  deskinned almonds on the top press them well.Let it cool for 10 mins make slices cool it for 15 mins and serve.
